First Chair offers a public, read-only API for AI assistants and partners: find vacation homes, price a stay with the same quote the checkout uses, and hand the traveler a reservation link with the stay filled in. It cannot hold, book or take payment; the traveler books on firstchair.com.

A stay in one call
GET https://www.firstchair.com/api/agent/v1/find?place=steamboat&check_in=2026-11-25&check_out=2026-11-29&adults=4Each home comes back with its id, bedrooms, sleeps, rating, nearest lift and book_at, the reservation page with the dates and party filled in. The first six homes shown carry the live checkout price.
The price contract
If stay.price is "live", stay.total is what the checkout charges at stay.as_of and book_at is ready for the traveler: no further call is needed. If it is "indicative", call quotebefore stating a final price. Nightly rates and totals include all fees and match the home's page; taxes are added at checkout.

Every page registers the same calls as WebMCP tools (find_homes, quote_stay, get_home, get_terms, reservation_link), so an assistant working in a visitor's Chrome can call them directly. All are read-only.
