Mount Snow sits at the southern end of Vermont’s Green Mountains, where an entire mountain face, Carinthia, is given over to terrain parks, the first setup of its kind on the East Coast.

Its visitors enjoy four distinct mountain faces paired with a walkable base area, premier accommodations, and the shortest drive to Vermont skiing from Boston or New York. Mount Snow covers 601 acres across 86 trails, and each face does a different job: the Main Face holds the learning terrain and ski school, Sunbrook runs long scenic blues, the North Face carries the steepest skiing on the mountain, and Carinthia is nothing but parks: eight of them across 100 acres, with rails, jumps, a superpipe, and a base lodge of its own. It’s the only East Coast park to have hosted the Winter X Games. In the valley below, Wilmington sits fifteen minutes away with a classic Vermont dining and après scene.
