New Hampshire's largest ski area
Bretton Woods is New Hampshire's largest ski area, sitting directly across Route 302 from the Omni Mount Washington Resort with Mount Washington itself filling the view.
Its visitors enjoy a ski area covering 464 acres with 63 trails and 40 glades, served by high-speed lifts and the Skyway Gondola. Grooming is the house style, and the terrain leans toward long cruising runs rather than steeps, which suits families and anyone still finding their legs. There are also 100 kilometers of Nordic trails, a different sport and a real reason to come. Bretton Woods is not on the Epic or Ikon pass: it sells its own Winter Mountain Pass and appears on regional passes with Cranmore, Cannon, and Waterville Valley.
