Two bowls, and a lake in every view

Schweitzer is the largest ski area in Idaho, in the mountains just above Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille.

It’s visitors enjoy a terrain that centers on Schweitzer Bowl on the front side and Outback Bowl behind it, with 92 named runs across 2,900 acres, the most of any ski area in Idaho or Washington. Sandpoint sits 11 miles below the mountain on the shore of Lake Pend Oreille, and the homes that serve Schweitzer are split between the base and the town.
