Cabin at the Beach

About this home

Cute, comfortable, and just three easy blocks from the soft sand of Old Orchard Beach, this cottage is full of the simple pleasures of coastal living. It's a place to stroll home to after beautiful days of swimming and beachcombing, light the grill on the deck out back, and spend your evenings relaxing in fragrant ocean air. This cottage sits half a mile south of downtown Old Orchard Beach, well within walking distance of the Old Orchard Pier, Palace Playland, the Amtrak station, and all sorts of shops and eateries. Yet it's also just removed enough to be relaxing and quiet - where you can unwind in a recliner on the glassed-in front porch, glimpsing the Atlantic Ocean at the end of the road. Walk home from the beach to find a living space that's cool, breezy, and full of sunlight (with window AC in the living room and bedrooms). As fresh local seafood sizzles on the gas grill out back, get started on your favorite side dishes in the well-equipped kitchen and set the windowside dining table for dinner. In the evenings, you can watch your favorite movies on cable or streaming, use the high-speed WiFi to check tomorrow's surf report, and leave the day's swimsuits and towels to spin in the washer/dryer downstairs.
