Matrix's 2013 Spread the Love Program application process is coming up fast! Starting June 1, 2012, cosmetology students and recent grads that will be licensed by January 1, 2012, or have graduated on or after January 1, 2011 and are 21 years old, are invited to apply for this opportunity.

“Spread the Love Ambassadors interact with everyone in the industry, from other stylists to salon owners to store owners, educators, manufacturers and marketers,” says Matrix Marketing Director Yaniv Shapira. “They are mentored by Matrix Artistic Directors and NAHA winners, and exposed to this business via the charitable and philanthropic activities they participate in through Chairs of Change.”

Visit MyMatrixFamily.com/stl for application details. Participants will be asked to submit a video essay explaining why they want to take part in the Spread the Love adventure, links to personal social networking sites and to personal blog samples. Deadline for the first round of applications is August 31, 2012.

Also in June, all cosmetology schools will be invited to nominate students for the program. Finalists will be flown to New York City in December and selected after a round of personal interviews. Winners will be announced mid-December 2012.
