What events does this association host or offer?

AAEE co-hosts the Chicago Midwest Beauty Show as a part of Cosmetologists Chicago as well as hosting several Continuing Education (CE) classes per year.

Do I have to be a member of this association to attend its events?

No, but paid admission can be expensive. For example, a three-day pass to CMBS 2006 was $136. With a year’s membership, you get free admission to the show as well as all the other benefits for less than the cost of a three-day pass.

Does this association provide any special programs or benefits for students or new cosmetology or skin care professionals?

We work closely with beauty schools and academies in our area to include students and new professionals in many of our educational events and programs. Special membership rates are available for students.
